Pellegrino’s café, is a locally loved café and eatery that has been serving up delicious soups, sandwiches and desserts for over eight years on Queen Mary Road, in the NDG Snowdon district of Montréal. It was eight years ago that Richard Bernett founder and owner of Ripples home made ice cream store and Bernett’s Rich Ice Cream Limited decided that it was time to branch out once more and develop a resto-café that would have the same warm and inviting atmosphere as his quaint ice cream shop on Blvd St. Laurent.
In addition to the weekly specials we also have a weekend breakfast menu.
Because of the popularity of our home made soups, Pellegrino’s now has soup for take-out and frozen soups sold by the litre. We can hardly keep up with the demand.
And if it is a delicious dessert you are needing, we now sell our famous banana breads by the loaf for take-out.
Summer hours are 7:30am-10pm during the week, Saturday 10am-10pm and Sunday 11am-10pm. Winter hours are from 7:30am to 7pm during the week, Saturday 10am-5pm.
Coffee: espresso, alonge, café au lait, cappuccino, makiado, regular brew, decaf dark roast
Sandwiches: egg, tuna,, crab, BLT, BLT with cheese, turkey, smoked meat, roast beef, veggie club, turkey club, party club
Salads: house, crab, tuna, egg, cesar, garden
Soups: Varies daily
Breakfast: toast, bagels, english muffins, egg muffins with cheese and or bacon, home made danish, muffins, biscotti.... We also have a weekend menu with an assortment of breakfast platters
Daily specials: A daily specials menu is distributed bi-weekly. Each special comes with a homemade soup of the day, a hearty meal and a regular coffee or tea for a set price with taxes included. Feel free to call and check out the daily special.
